I take a lot of walks, mostly to get from place to place but sometimes just in circles to not stare at a screen. When I walk, I like to look for things I call main characters. They are objects, permanent parts of the city, put there on purpose, discarded or left behind on accident. I like to take pictures of them, usually in a centered composition. I take pictures on an impulse, as I notice these main characters. Only days after I reflect on why I actually noticed the object. They often become a source of design inspiration.
